2015 Chef Ambassador 16th-22nd March
We are incredibly blessed to be part of Taste of Harmony Festival 2015. Carly Day, founder of The Ja Joint is an ambassador for the week long event that sees thousands of Australians embracing our cultural diversity through food. Workplaces all over Australia register their workplace, receive free promotional decorations and each staff member brings in a dish that represents their ethnic heritage.
Australia's best chefs and food producers have been selected to represented the event country wide. Carly Day is heading the event with Guy Grossi, Ed Halmagyi, Mark Olive, Alice Zaslavsky to name a few. As amabassador it's our job to get as many companies registering for the event whilst conducting a bunch of media interviews and cooking shows.
As the leading Jamaican product producer in Australia our products are handcrafted in Australia, gluten free, made from local ingredients and certified the best Jamaican products in Oz. We teach Australians how to cook amazing and simple Jamaican food using our products and following our step by step recipes included within our purchases.
Our brand is about connecting cultures through food and employment. We partner with community organisations that access to marginalised youth from a variety of mixed culture backgrounds and provide employment to these groups. With our kit purchases you directly impact and make a difference to our crew members lives by providing employment.
We are so proud to be part of a campaign that mirrors our brands ethos and values.
